Keyboard shortcuts

Every key WinDict listens for, from anywhere in Windows and on the card.

Anywhere in Windows

These two work in every app. To change them, open Shortcuts under General in the settings, click the one to change and press the new keys; Esc keeps the old ones. A shortcut needs Ctrl, Alt or Win with its key.

KeysWhat they do
Alt+DLooks up the selected word or phrase. With nothing selected, opens a box to type a word into.
Alt+TTranslates the selected text, up to 500 characters. With nothing selected, opens a box to type text into.

EscCloses the card
Ctrl+TShows the word's translation, or its definition again
Ctrl+CCopies the word, the translation, or the similar word picked with Tab
